A1-Legacy: Foundation Worth Building

A1 Legacy is always in need of and recruiting good teachers, researchers, and staff personnel.  We are looking for individuals who possess experience working in an academic environment for at least one to two years in South Korea, particulary in the Seoul area.  We hire those who possess an intense desire to teach, to challenge, to motivate and last but not least love students.  Furthermore, we are looking for people who want to grow and see their lives coming into some form of meaning in Korea.  We are looking for managers, trainers, future partners, those of you who believe in the education system and the benefits of a synergistic relationship between Western and Korean education. 

If you are looking for a 9 to 5 job, we recommend you look elsewhere as our faculty often stay late to get the job done and yes we do work on Saturdays: some even on Sundays, like me, Paul Chung.   Albeit the team works hard, A1 strives to provide our faculty and staff with a family style environment where everyone helps, supports and nurtures each other.   Sure we get into fights, sometimes like cats and dogs (it happens when you have a group of highly creative, and open-minded individuals), yet we won't leave our members out to dry.  Moreover, we don't pay great emphasis on your sex, age, picture, cultural and for that matter racial background as most academies do.  We want the best and the best is not always a certain color or race if you get what I mean.

Qualifications

Faculty/ Research & Development

- 1-2 years minimum teaching in Seoul

- Bachelor's degree

- Strong mastery of English. Korean definitely a plus

- Experience teaching with American textbook

- Hard-working
